your 1st question:

how did you start vapourboteering

I was a member of the Robot Wars forum around 2001/2002. I decided to have a look around one day, and I found these fanfic tournaments. Most of them had already started, so I read them until a new tournament started. It wasn't long until a certain Steven McGregor started the Steven Superstar Tournament. Once I got confirmation that I could enter, I made some not-so-good stats for a design I had previously made in Lego, called Ripper. I managed to win my first ever battle against an excellent real robot known as Psychosprout, and I was hooked.

Who do you have friendships and rivalrys with in the community?

I think (or hope) I'm friends with everyone, really. Especially Joey, Martijn and Kody. We've had some great moments in the past couple of years!

I don't really have any "rivalries" with anyone either. I like some people better than others, but who doesn't? I like to think most people get on with me and I try not to get involved with "rivalries" unless I need too.

which was your 1st vapour and how on earth did it beat psychosprout

Ripper was my first vapourbot, and I even have the incredible stats!

notes: ram is used for slamming the chainsaw onto other bots flipping bots and acts as rippers SHRIMEC
flywheel has 30 teeth
26 teeth on chainsaw

I can't remember how it beat Psychosprout, but Steve might. I think I immobilised it though.
