(BATTLE 1!!!)
From Hoogvilet, in Holland, Eternia!
Eternia is a newcomer but not to be underestimated. It’s got a very big flipper that is powered by CO2 and a good speed of 11.178 mph or 18km/hr. The flipper can flip 1300kg, but its drive isn’t the best one, and also it’s got limited CO2 on board for the flipper. Good robot overall, though.
From Shrewsbury, in Shropshire, Monolith!
Monolith is a Storm 2-lookalike, and it’s also got a scoop to push everything in its path but it’s invertible so maybe an axe or crusher can get its wheels.
From Hampshire, King Buxton!
This golden oldie has got 4WD and two spikes to either lift or ram. However, the wheels are highly exposed… I hope it doesn’t get smashed by the house robots or something…

Booth 1: Eternia, Monolith Booth 2: King Buxton
The house robots will be Shunt, the axing bulldozer, and Mangled Metal with the powerful spinning ring.
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!!!
The first battle of Series 2 commences now, and with massive force, Monolith comes zooming out of the traps, and quickly chases King Buxton! Now, Eternia comes in and flips King Buxton! FLIP! The flip sends King Buxton 13 feet into the air but King Buxton is okay. Now, King Buxton has a bead on Monolith, and tries to slam into it with the spikes! However, Monolith turns and gets underneath King Buxton, there! Now, it feeds King Buxton right into Shunt’s CPZ! The diamond tipped axe comes down with massive force! WHACK!! Ooh, that’s got to hurt; it made a nice hole in the armour of King Buxton! King Buxton gets away from Shunt, but not from Monolith, as it gets underneath the King’s side, and pushes King Buxton right into Mangled Metal, who is waiting with its 1300RPM spinning ring! CRASH!!!!! ZOMG!!! The exposed wheel is just ripped away, and King Buxton has got three wheels on its wagon! Now, King Buxton doesn’t seem to be moving… is it? I think that Mangled Metal not only ripped off a wheel, but I think it just dislodged something from inside of King Buxton from that attack, and the Refbot sure thinks so, as well! The countdown is on! 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7…8…9…10!!! King Buxton is the first to be sent out of the competition! Eternia comes in for the last rites, and flips the beaten machine that is King Buxton, out of the arena! It’s all over in just 45 seconds!

King Buxton is exiled out of the competition. Eternia and Monolith goes through to Round 2!

Sam Park: Welcome back to Robobash, where we will start our second fight of the evening, where three robots go in, but only two come out alive.
(BATTLE 2!!)
From Bedford, 0001!
0001 is a really strange robot but it’s none less dangerous at all! It’s got two very powerful hydraulic jaws that can crush another robot into bits, but it’s got exposed wheels and its 15mm polycarbonate armour is not the most resilient by a long shot.
From Texas, in USA, ISRRNY!
ISRRNY is a very good robot with a nasty axe which is based on The Judge. It’s also very nippy at 20mph, but as always it’s got limited CO2 and it has somewhat high ground clearance under the skirts.
From Toronto, Ontario, and Seeded #1, Intriguous!
Last year’s runner up returns to create more havoc than ever before! The axe is based on The Judge, and it’s also got good pushing power, as well. However, the CO2 is limited so it’s got to be careful about passing gas too much. ;D

House Robots will be Dead Metal with the claws, the saw, and the weapons synergy, and the big daddy of them all… King Arthur with the disc and jaws!
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
Intriguous comes out strongly, and already comes in on 0001. 0001 is trying hard to get away from the axe and get underneath the sides or back of Intriguous. ISRRNY is also zooming out, and gets its axe into 0001 already! WHACK!! The axe makes a hole into the 15mm polycarb armour of 0001, and Intriguous pushes the clampbot into the capable claws of Dead Metal! Now, Dead Metal grabs hold of 0001, and down comes the dreaded 3000RPM saw of doom onto the polycarbonate armour! BZZT! The saw just slices through the polycarbonate smoothly! Now, 0001 is trying frantically to get itself out of the clutches, and it does, just barely! 0001 is now trying to attack ISRRNY but it seems to be too quick and speedy for the clampbot! Now, Intriguous nudges the pit button, and the pit goes down! It now tries to get its axe into play on 0001! WHACK! OH!! Intriguous somehow buries its axe into the wheel hole, and it’s not letting it go! Now, it rams 0001 into the rear disc of King Arthur! CRASH!!!!!! Part of the armour is ripped away, and 0001 is now running in circles… I think it was because of the attack by Intriguous or maybe the disc attack from the King Arthur… I’m not really sure, but anyway— WHACK! OH! ISRRNY just crashes the party and axes up 0001 and pushes it near the pit! Now, 0001 is running in circles and trying to get itself out of danger, and Intriguous spares it from any more damage by pushing it into the pit! BOOM!
CEASE!
0001 is battered into submission. ISRRNY and Intriguous goes through to Round 2!

Justine (new pit reporter): I’m in the pits with Leo Van Miert and his robot, Eternia. Do you know who you’re up against? Leo: I think I know… oh wait a minute. No I don’t. ;D Justine: Haha. All right, you’re up against ISRRNY. How do you feel about that? Leo: Well, if I avoid the hammer, I think I’ll be all right. I think I have a good chance. What I’ll do is flip it out of the arena ASAP. Justine: All right then, best of luck. Leo: Thank you.
Justine: Mark, this just in, you’re up against Eternia. Mark: Erm… well, it might be pretty difficult, because Eternia is an extremely good robot, and it almost won Eye of the Robot 3. Justine: Mkay, tactics? Mark: Axe it into submission, do a lot of pushing and just hope for the best. Justine: Best of luck. Mark: Thank you.

Mindbender! Sgt. Bash! These house robots have an appetite for destruction!
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!!!
Eternia, first to move, quickly chases ISRRNY, but ISRRNY is quick to turn, and crashes into the side of Eternia! Now, it brings the axe down! WHACK!!! OH! The 40mm HDPE is dented, and that will probably score points for Mark if it goes to a judge’s decision, but wait! Eternia gets underneath the side skirts somehow and flips Mark’s machine over! FLIP!!! ISRRNY soars 10ft up into the air and comes crashing down with a thud back onto its wheels! ISRRNY retalitates immediately, and comes crashing into Eternia’s rear, and now the axe can come down! WHACK!!! The axe makes another dent in the armour, there! Good attack by ISRRNY, I must say. Eternia, however, is oblivious to the axe attack, and continues fighting back! Now, Eternia chases ISRRNY, and gets underneath! Now, Eternia pushes the axebot into Mindbender! ISRRNY tries to get away, but… CRASH!!!!! OH!!! The 4mm titanium skirts are ripped away! ISRRNY drives away, and presses the pit button! The pit goes down and ISRRNY slams into Eternia and tries to push it into the pit, but Eternia refuses to go down, and gets away! Now Eternia chases ISRRNY and gets underneath the sides! It now carries Mark’s machine closer to the wall and FLIPS! FLIP!!! OH!!! Eternia flips another robot completely out of the arena! Now, celebrating its victory, Leo smiles slyly and drives Eternia towards Sgt Bash! Sgt Bash tries getting away— FLIP! -- and Sgt Bash is flipped over! Refbot gives Eternia a yellow card, and Leo does not like that one bit! Eternia charges towards the Refbot and carries it towards the wall! FLIP! ZOMG! The flip sends Refbot flying out! Now I’ve seen everything and Mark is laughing at the sight of the house robots getting absolutely humiliated! Gallant contender, indeed!

ISRRNY’s big axe couldn’t save it from being flipped out. Eternia goes through to the Heat A Final!

Monolith VS Intriguous
Justine: I’m here in the pits once again with Andrew Jackson himself. So Monolith is up against Seed #1, Intriguous. AJ: Well, I don’t really know if I could beat it, but I’d like to give it my best shot. Justine: What are your tactics going to be? AJ: I think I’ll ram it into submission and drag it to the house robots and pit, hopefully. Justine: All right, good luck. AJ: Thank you.
Justine: I’m here with Kody Kunz now, and Intriguous is up against… Monolith! Kody: Well, the thing to remember here, is that Intriguous has a powerful drive system with a couple of LEM-130 motors, and hopefully with this big axe, it can snag a wheel hole, and drag it into the pit, or even better, puncture a wheel. Justine: That looks like a pretty dangerous axe. Kody: It is indeed. Powered by CO2, and it shoots about 15 times per battle, which should hopefully be enough. So what I’ll do, is grab hold of it with the axe and drag it into the pit. Since I came 2nd last year, I am pretty sure that I’ve got this battle in the bag. Justine: All right then, best of luck. Kody: Ta.

House Robot 1: She’s got a 27kg flywheel, and front tusks to flip victims. House Robot 2: HUGE hammer. Need I say more? That’s right, it’s Matilda and Head Smash!
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!
And off we go. Monolith is by far the fastest with a top speed of 18mph, meanwhile Intriguous has 12mph. Monolith tries getting underneath Intriguous, but Intriguous gets away. Now, Intriguous chases, and the axe comes blasting down on Monolith! WHACK!!! …and Monolith comes out unscathed in spite of the hardox armour! Monolith now pushes Intriguous into the pit button, and the pit goes down! This would be an extreme stunner if last year’s runner up went out here, but Intriguous tries to prove that wrong, and it fights back by getting underneath Monolith’s side somehow, and grabbing hold of it tightly with the axe! Now Intriguous pushes Monolith right into the capable flywheel of Matilda! CRASH!!! The 7075 aluminium skirt is totally wrenched out of shape! But no damage is caused to Monolith’s armour whatsoever. Monolith is doing well thus far, and now it’s pushing Intriguous into the wall! Oof! That’s got to hurt, but now, Intriguous is completely unaware of the attack and gets under Monolith! Now, Monolith is being carried closer to the pit! Can Intriguous finish the job—YES! It’s all over in less than a minute!

Justine: Right Kody, you are last year’s runner up and the 1st Seeds. That seeding is on the line. Can you beat Eternia? Kody: I have no fear, so yes, I can. Justine: That’s the spirit! So, any tactics? Kody: I’m planning to take the wheel covers off, so Intriguous can run inverted. As for tactics… well, I’ll axe it to hell, maybe? Justine: You reckon you can do it? Kody: Probably, and then I’ll dump it into the pit or something. Justine: All right, good luck. Kody: Yup.

Dan: Well, a great way to start off the series and it has been a blast. We’ve got two robots, all armed to the teeth for tonight’s heat final. However, there can be only one winner tonight. Quite a big match-up, indeed, eh, Sam? Sam: Quite true, Dan, because Eternia almost won Eye of the Robot 3, but Intriguous won the PTT: Regeneration tourney. Also, since Intriguous is slightly more faster, I think it will drive the victory home. What do you think? Dan: Well, I think I would have to agree, because you saw how Intriguous beat legendary flippers like Achilles in PTT: Regeneration, so the same thing might happen here. Sam: Well, we will see what happens. Anyways… Dan and Sam: LET THE HEAT FINAL BEGIN!

Gorgon and Sir Killalot are rocking the house in this battle!
3… 2… 1… ACTIVATE!!!
Both of these robots are highly experienced. Eternia came 4th in Eye of the Robot 3 and Intriguous also won the latest edition of PTT. Now, both robots got a bead on each other, and Intriguous, a little nippier, gets underneath the side of Eternia and rams it into the wall and fires its axe! WHACK! A dent is made in the 4cm HDPE, and that will score Intriguous points if this battle goes to a judge’s decision. However, Eternia retaliates, and gets under the side skirts of Intriguous somehow, and carries it to the wall! FLIP!! Last year’s runner-up bounces off the wall and gets back into the arena, just barely! My heart was just pounding like a jackrabbit! Kody sighs a sigh of relief, as he drives Intriguous into the pit button, and Intriguous gets underneath the sides of Eternia again, and feeds it to the CPZ where Gorgon is! Now, Gorgon just slams into Eternia, and down come the crusing fangs, but not really causing much damage. Not more than a dent is seen in Eternia’s armour. Now, Eternia fights back angrily at Intriguous as it tries to get underneath the side of last year’s runner up. Now it carries Intriguous into the wall! FLIP! Oh, and just barely surviving again! Undoubtedly fantastic defense there by Intriguous indeed! Now, Intriguous is just slamming into the side of Eternia, and now it gets and underneath, fires its axe and carries it towards the pit! Eternia tries to get away but… BOOM! Too late; it’s over! Intriguous proves worthy of the first seeding and wins the heat!

Eternia is not eternal, it’s dead. ;D INTRIGUOUS GOES THROUGH TO THE SERIES SEMI FINALS!!!
