No Consequences WEIGHT: 100kgs DIMENSIONS: (excluding blades and front forks) 140 x 140 x 15 cm SHAPE: A low dome shape, with the lower 2cm of the body cut off at right angles to the floor COLOUR: Yellow, with a red and yellow striped lifter arm and black chevrons on each side DRIVE: 2 S28-400 Magmotors run at 24v from 10kg of NiCad battery packs and custom control electronics, driving 2 inner wheels located close to the centre to maximise rotation speed. SPEED: 12mph average driving speed; 5mph maximum translational drift speed - note it is switchable between driving and translating GROUND CLEARANCE: 7mm all around, except for the front forks on the lifter which are 0 ARMOUR: 3mm titanium/vanadium alloy over a Hardox frame, designed to concentrate the armour weight on the outside for more of a flywheel effect when spinning, with a 6mm polycarbonate base. The blades and front forks are 3.25mm Hardox. WEAPONS: The robot itself acts as a translational full body spinner; a complicated set of electronics incorporating an internal compass and accelerometer controls, through a microprocessor, the speeds of the two wheels so that while spinning at up to 1000rpm, the entire robot moves across the arena as well. There are two blades/teeth, one on either side of the robot, shaped to rip rather than bludgeon and capable of delivering a maximum of 130kj per hit. The machine retains its rear hinged full length 35cm wide lifting arm from previous versions as well, powered by the same 1 tonne linear actuator and capable of lifting fully in about a second. SRIMECH: The lifter THEME SONG: "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears For Fears NOTES: Components are heavily shockproofed to protect from spinner and other hits. A pulsing light shows which way is forward when spinning. STRENGTHS: Versatile, capable of doing a lot of damage WEAKNESSES: Runaway steamrollers (Edited 6 December 2008; was looking at the stats and changed motor voltage from 36v to 24v because I realised Mags generally can't handle that) CAD: Mucho thankso to Kody Kunz for doing this:

Name – Back to Rock III Shape – See picture, it’s a box with a scoop at the front and a rounded back. The front is higher than the back and has an “arc” like Behemoth had, all for more efficient self-righting. Weight – 100 Kilogram Speed – 18mph Dimensions – 90x84x33 cm Ground Clearance – 0 underneath the lifter and skirts, 5 mm everywhere else. Power – 2x LEM130s at 48v Movement – 6 wheels, about 12 cm diameter Turning Circel - Zero Weaponry – A big rear-hinged lifting arm, basically the red part of the picture. It is powered by a single LEM130 at 36 V, which a “pinion and rack”-mechanism. A pinion around the LEM’s axle moves up a rack that’s joint to the lifter about halfway its length. The fancy part is that this runs through a gearbox, with 2 gears. One gear is for powerful and controlled lifting and moves up the arm in about 2-3 seconds, another gear is for quick self-righting and moves up the arm in 1 second. The two plates at the bottom run almost parallel to the ground and are arranged in the way they are (split in the middle, see picture) for the secondary weapon to come into play, a Pussycat-style vertical diamond-edged sawblade, powered by a S28-150 Magmotor at 24 V spinning at 4000 rpm. The blade is part of the lifter and thereby damages the opponent’s underbelly while lifting it. The sawblade slicing its way INTO (more or less) my opponent will enhance my grip on it and increase my control over my opponent, which is good. On both sides of the bot is a 7 mm titanium skirt. Armour – 5 mm titanium at the bottom, 7 mm titanium everywhere else Srimech - The lifter self-rights the robot when needed Strenghts - Nice weapon synergy, high traction, can really control an opponent Weakness – Untested lifter concept, easy to get under from rear, not as agile as 4WD or 2WD bots

Robot Name: Monsoon Season Dimensions (L x W x H): 90cm x 80cm x 35cm Shape: Box wedge, slanted sides and steep rear wedge. Colour: The main body shell is black, with the flipper/ramming plate in bright green. The sides of the machine have skulls drawn on them in the same colour green as the flipper/ramming plate. Weight: 100kg Drive: 2 x LEM130s running at 36v, powered by a bunch of 36v NiCads. Top Speed: Approx 15mph. Tracks: This version of Monsoon has tracks instead of wheels. The tracks are made from Titanium/Vanadium alloy and have Vulcalon pads on every section of track in order to fully incorporate grip on the arena floor. Armour: The baseplate is 5mm Titanium. The main body shell is constructed from a single piece of 30mm HDPE. The flipper/ramming plate is made from 4mm Hardox and covers the whole of the front of the machine. Weaponry: At the front of the machine is a 4mm Hardox flipper/ramming plate, similar in style to Atomic from Series 7 of Robot Wars. The flipper/ramming plate is powered by 2 x 80mm bore 60mm stroke pneumatic rams, run off CO2 gas contained at 1000psi. The gas is held in 3 x 1.1kg CO2 gas canisters inside the robot, and should allow for plenty of flips in a battle (roughly 35 flips). The front of the machine can also be used as a ramming plate, allowing Monsoon Season to use its enormous pushing power as well as the ability to flip its opponents clean out of the arena. Turning Circle: 0m Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, 7mm at sides and back. Srimech: Flipper.

NITRO-GENE 5.0
• WEIGHT: 100kg
• ARMOUR: 3.25mm monocoque Hardox for the body, with very strong Stainless Steel bolts capped off with rubber to avoid them being broken by spinners. 4mm Hardox flipper. Inside the body, there’s 1cm of Vulkanised rubber on the sides and rear, with 3cm on the front to help fight powerful spinners, and there's also 0.5cm of PU foam covering the motors and flipper rams inside for protection.
• SHAPE: Low invertible box with sides and rear angled in a <> shape, with the rear angled >. The front is completely flat, making it useful at hitting into things and bashing. All the lines have been curved over to make it harder for a spinner to grab onto a panel and rip.
• MOTORS: 2 x S28-400 MagMotors at 36V = 12HP
• LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels, each is 40mm in width, and they’re also 180mm in diameter.
• DIMENSIONS: (L) 85CM (H) 17CM (W) 75CM
• COLOUR: Dark Blue all over with the flipper coloured red with the name imblazed on the flipper (running vertically down the robot) in gold writing with a thick silver outline. All the edges of the robot are coloured gold.
• WEAPONRY: A full pressure Nitrogen powered flipper at 1000psi, using a single 110mm ram at 1000psi. The flipper is mounted in the middle of the robot, and is 15cm wide and runs 65cm up the body. Using a 5cm long 10mm thick Titanium wedge underneath the flipper, and a heavy flipping arm, the flipper runs completely along the ground. Running on a ratio 2.1:1, the flipper produces 1600kg of force at the tips, allowing me to launch anyone away! This version has enough lift to get a robot of equal size 11-6ft into the air, and throw it 11-6ft along. This version has 1 x 2kg Nitrogen bottle, giving me 15 flips! The flipper has enough power to self-right Nitro-Gene 5.0 in a super stylish 540* somersault!
• SPEED: 20mph
• GROUND CLEARANCE: 0CM-1CM. At the front, it is completely 0mm. On the skirted sides/rear, its 1cm. 4mm Titanium skirts held on by Hardox hindges are mounted on the sides/rear and join up at the corners, making it harder to get under.
• STRENGTH: Pushing power and weaponry.
• WEAKNESS: High ground clearance underneath skirts.

Flank Attack 2: Divisionary Tactics Robot Concept - Horizonal Crusher, ala Tough as Nails Mass - 100 kg Weapons - Horizontal Crushers, with nearly 3 tons of crushing power on each of the pincers. A single hydraulic ram pushes the two claws, both of which are hinged on a single point to create a pressure as the jaws close. (Contrary to popular belief, hydraulics do not close that slowly so I feel I'll be alright here. It's only in comparison to pnuematics that one would feel that hydraulics are slow.) Can it self-right? - No, but invertible. Maximum Velocity - 21 mph, using 2x B42-500's at 48 volts. Turning Circle – 0 Ground clearance - 0mm for the plow, 5cm underneath the largest part of the body. Skirts - None. Wheel Type – 2, 8" wheels. The wheels are coated in rubber and a sticky substance that will give it extra traction. They are made of 6mm Titanium for strength. Body Shape - Tough As Nails Armour - 1.2cm Titanium for the main body, 1.5cm Titanium for the claws. The claws themselves are covered with a 1mm thick transparent rubber to help absorb hits and slow down spinners. 6mm hardox plow. The wheel guards are 4mm hardox. Colour - Black. Summary - There is no escape. Strengths - Excellent torque, traction, speed, armor, and weapon, as well as invertible. Weaknesses - The claws could be considered slow, and an axe could target the wheels. God I hope that's not overweight.

Whiplash
Weight: 100kg Body Shape: Pentagonal Pyramid with skirts Dimensions: 100 X 85 X 38 Power: 2 X LEM-130's at 36v powered by 4 X Nicads Tyres: 4 X Asmaprene Urethane Rubber Tyres Speed: 15 mph Armour: 4mm Hardox Ground Clearence: 0mm with skirts, and 5mm without skirts Weapon 1: SHEER PUSHING POWER Weapon 2: At the front there is a 7kg Terrorhurtz-Like BattleAxe (made out of hardox, even the handle) powered by 2 X 2kg CO2 Tanks, 200 PSI, diamond tipped, has over 1500 joules of force when it comes down. It can also attack from both ends. Heavily Shock-Proofed, as well. Srimech: The axe can easily self-right it (even when it's on its side), and it can also self-right even after the axe has fired, ala Killerhurtz. Strengths: PSYCHOTIC AXE AND PUSHING POWER Weaknesses: NONE AT ALL! (Except for Limited Co2)

NAME- Mornington Crescent SHAPE- flat cylinder COLOUR- white, with the London Underground sign for "Mornington Crescent" on the top and bottom WEIGHT- approx 100kg DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 20cm SPEED- 12mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0mm GROUND CLEARANCE- 8mm ARMOUR- 3.5mm Hardox MOVEMENT- 4 x inner wheels POWER- 2 x S28-400 Magmotors, running at 24v WEAPONS- Mornington Crescent is armed with not one, but TWO outer spinning rings, one on top of the other. The top ring spins anticlockwise, while the bottom ring spins clockwise. Each ring has four teeth and weighs about 10kg. The rings are powered by an LEM-130 running at 36v each and can reach speeds of 1500rpm. The two rings spinning in alternate directions should also help the robot be easier to drive - theoretically, anyway. SRIMECH- invertible NOTES- flies Scotland flag, thanks to Joey and Andy for helping with stats STRENGTHS- two spinners for the price of one, nippy, manoueverable, tough, more controlled than regular ring spinners WEAKNESSES- wheels open to axes and crushers, unpredictable bouncing?

Achilles Weight: 100kg Shape: A sloped box that is wedged at the front- the robot is far lower to the ground than all previous incarnations, and the front is less steep as a result making it easier to get under a foe. The front end is now also curved to allow better resistance to weapons. As always, the back is rounded allowing the srimech to 'roll' it over more easily. The sides are now also very slightly sloped inwards at the top. The volume of the robot is about a quarter smaller. Wheels: Four internal cast aluminium wheels (similar to tornado's Go Cart wheels in design but only 40mm wide) and using treaded go-kart style tyres of appropriate diameters. They are run off a tornado-esque skid steer system. Motors: 2x Eteks at 48v Speed: 18mph Turning circle: 0m Armour: 5mm titanium and on top 10mm of polyurethane rubber to stop axes and crushers The flipper and front armour is a hardox frame (4mm) and the spatula is titanium. The internal rams are mounted onto a hardox crossbar but otherwise the top of the flipper it is now armoured with 10mm polycarbonate and the aforementioned rubber. The chassis is also titanium and the side and rear armour is slotted into grooves on the chassis and then welded making it very difficult to remove the side panels. Ground clearance: At the front, the flipper spatula essentially gives it a 0 ground clearance, at the sides it would be 5mm but is protected by a 3mm stainless steel skirt Weapons: The weapon is a rear pivoted lifting arm, this has two set-ups, plus a small extra mounted weapon for either. To get under the opponent it has a Bigger Brother style lifting plate that runs parallel to the ground resting upon it that gives the machine a really low ground clearance enabling it to get under most things, the front edge of the plate has been filed to a sharp edge. Set-up 1: Hydraulics Uses a single hydraulic lifting arm to life opponents of up to 150 kg into the air and tip over up to 400kg. Uses a 120mm bore ram with 40mm stroke and powered using a Vivoil pump On top of the lifter is a hook mechanism that looks like a tiny claw but performs the same gripping effect as the top mounted behemoth axe. It is not particularly sharp, as it is not designed to cause damage, just to grip the opponent it is powered by a small linear actuator. Set-up 2: Pneumatics The second set up is a high-powered pneumatics set-up with a single canister of C02 running at 1000psi providing the power. The addition to this set-up is a small T-shaped bar powered by an actuator which pivots towards the back, enabling Achilles to self right without using up any gas. In emergencies both srimech options can be fired simultaniously for a short 'hop'. Strengths: Very durable, no particular weaknesses for opponent to exploit. Weaknesses: No damaging weapons.

Krackotoa Shape: Low triangular prism on its side, like Y-Pout and Why Not. Colour: Mix of reds, browns and yellows, with a single eye painted in the middle. Drive: Translational 3WD. It uses 3 LEM200 Lynch motors run on 72.6 volts, giving around 17BHP for each wheel and 34HP at peak power, and utilizes a translational drive system akin to that of Cyclonebot, using motor and wheel sensors to rotate and translate around with minimal energy loss. It also has a blue LED light underneath to show which direction it is facing. Power: 22 M1 A123 packs in parallel, producing 72.6v and weighing 15.4kg in total. Motivation: 3 2' wide tires wrapped around aluminium hubs. These wheels are angled 60 degrees to each other like Y-Pout's. Speed: Translational speed is about 10mph, tip speed reaches enormous speeds of 360mph. Armour: A one-piece 4mm Hardox monocoque, so individual panels cannot be torn off. Inner bulkheads are 10mm aluminium. Shockproofing: In numerous places. Battery packs have polypropylene cell holders so the battery cells don't get smashed up during hits. The motors, batteries and wheel bearings are shock mounted. All of this is to stop Krackotoa from killing itself from its own blows. Ground Clearance: 10mm Turning Circle: 0 Dimensions in CM (LxWxH): 78 x 90 x 25. When spinning, the length and width look the same. Weaponry: The robot is the weapon. It uses 6 hardened steel teeth, 2 on each of the 3 ends, to slam into the opponent while spinning using the translating drive system. It takes 3 seconds to get the 100kg bot to the minimum set spinning speed 750rpm, which thanks to the high moment of inertia (MOI) value should dish out about 40kJ per hit, which in itself is much more than enough to send a bot of equal size across the arena. The good news about this is that, being a translational spinner, it won't completely stop spinning after a hit, so it can keep dishing out blows repeatedly without slowing down that much. The highest RPM this machine can get to is 2250RPM, and at that it can smack 292kJ into an opponent. Takes a while to get up to that speed though. Srimech: Invertible. Has an inversion switch that is activated when flipped, so it still drives the same. BIO: The old Kracko was kinda lame, so we've stepped up to translational properties! Kinda MDU4-ish, kinda not. Huge thanks to Joey who helped with pretty much everything. Battle Record = N/A Robots and Vapourbots Defeated = N/A Time of Activity = February 2009 - present Notable Achievements = None Theme song = "Burning For You" by Blue Öyster Cult

The May Tracks Has You
Shape: Like Comengetorix. It has a wedge extender to give it 0 mm at the front.
Speed: 15 MPH.
Dimensions(lwh A): 85CM X 45 CM X 24 CM
Armour: 4.5 MM hardox.
GC: 0 mm at the front, 6 mm everywhere else, covered by skirts made of 3 mm Ti.
Weapon 1: Rear hinged flipper, powered by two pneumatic rams at 500 psi.
Weapon 2: Upward facing spikes on the wedge. A robot can go over them, but if it tries to reverse, say goodbye to your tyres. By wedging a robot then reversing suddenly, TMTHY can impale the tyres, then fire the flipper to do loads of damage. Even a robot with stuffed tyres will be limping after that.
Drive: Inner tracks, powered by Lem-130’s at 24 volts.
Srimech: The flipper.
Strengths: Weapon synergy, has sunglasses painted on the side. Once The May Tracks Has You, there is no escape.
Weaknesses: Axe/flipper combos could take the tracks out.
Notes: There is a strip of metal shaped like sunglasses at the top of the flipper to prevent fast robots just going straight up and over like in Storm 2 vs Firestorm.

ORKA RV
Weight: 100 kilos Body Shape: Basic Invertible box-wedge shape. 1m long, 0.8m wide, 0.3m at maximum height. Speed: Some 15mph TC: 0 GC: 8mm, 0mm at front. Wheels; 6 inner Armour; 7mm titanium Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by S28-400 Magmotors, at 24v. Colour; Black with white patches Weapons; A pneumatic CO2 powered flipping arm that spans most of the robots length. It can throw some 400 kilos and has about 50 flips. Although the arm itself is quite narrow (about half the robot width), the flipper plate expands the full width. Srimech: It's a both-er. It can run inverted AND self-right using the arm. Inspiration; I've always liked Orcas. Adding the K made it sound more dangerous. Strengths; Weapon Weaknessess: Hard to turn
