BIACS-IS OF EVIL-UTION
Weight - 98.5kg
Dimensions - (Arms down) W+L- 120cm H- 45cm (Arms Down) W+L- 70cm H- 90cm
Speed - 9mph
Shape - Hahahaha, don't even go there... I guess pyramid with bits missing when arms are down and a bit like the Pokemon Vileplume when they're up (no joke)
Ground Clearance - 2mm with arms down, about 3cm when arms are up.
Turning Circle - 0
Armour - Arms made of 4mm hardox, supporting box, very hard to get to, made of 3mm titanium
Locomotion - 2 small Hypnodisc esque wheels with about a 150mm diameter, plus 2 casters. Mounted on a 4-way cross frame a little like an office chair.
Batteries - 4 x 24V 3.3ah NiMh battlepacks for the drive, plus 4 more for the arms system and another 2 for the weapon
Motors - 2 x S28-400 Magmotors running at 24V
Weapons - BIACS-IS has a defensive weapon, and an offensive weapon. One consists of a series of 4 arms, mounted to the top of the robot, which start thin and widen as they go to the floor, covering a total of 180 degrees of the centre of the robot in a 45 degree on/off pattern. These arms are powered by a single linear actuator running in series cabling, to allow all 4 arms to lift up in unison. The up to down process will take roughly 2.5 seconds. When the arms lift up, the main weapon is revealed, which is roughly 20kg in weight. the disc is 1.25cm thick and has 4 titanium teeth on it. It's powered by a S28-400 Magmotor geared down 2:1 to produce a speed of 2450rpm and producing 48kJ power. The disc is mounted on top of the office chair-like base, where it's drive is, whilst the drive to the actuator, sits on top of the disc. The general tactic is to spin the disc up and not lift the arms up untl it's at full speed, only bringing them back down when the disc needs to be sped up again.
Srimech - The arms will always right us whether up or down when flipped.
Strengths - If disc is exposed it will always be up to speed. Hard to attack
Weaknesses- Brief pockets of vulnerability if disc is stopped.
Weight Distributions
