Robot Name: Champagne Dimensions (LxWxH): 40cm x 120cm x 30cm Shape: Very wide 120cm scoop at the front, wedged rear and sloped sides. Colour: Pure white with dark cream circles which look like bubbles. Weight: 100kg Drive: 2 x LEM130s running at 36v, powered by NiCad batteries. Top Speed: Around 18mph. Wheels: 2 x 20cm diameter go-kart wheels made entirely of rubber. The hubs are made from Aluminium alloy. Armour: 6mm Titanium/Vanadium alloy over the robot, with the scoop being made from 4mm Hardox. Weapon: The whole scoop is powered by a 4 bar linear actuator system running at 24v. It can lift opponents 20cm into the air in half a second, and should lift 200kg easily. The linear actuator is powered by some NiCad batteries. At the top of the robot is a small Aluminium spike, which helps the robot in self righting. If flipped, the robot will use the scoop to self right, with the spike helping to shift the centre of gravity so the robot can fall back on its wheels. Turning Circle: 0m Ground Clearance: 0mm at the front, 4mm at the sides and 6mm at the back. Srimech: The scoop/spike combo.
