Aftershock
Shape: Horizontal cylinder Colour: See picture Speed: 10mph Weight: 100kg Armour: The drum and hubs are 9mm titanium. Drive: 2 S28-150s, 24v. Power: 4 NiCad Battlepacks, 24v. Motivation: Two large packed-tight-with-foam tires, like Overkill just less wide. They are very tough even against disc weapons. Ground Clearance: 5mm Dimensions in CM (LxWxH): 95x40x40 Weaponry: The 29kg drum and 11kg hubs are all weapons here. All spin independently through one LEM130 motor each: the hubs have 2 hardox teeth while the drum has 10. The drum spins at 3500rpm and dishes out 43kJ, while the hubs spin at 6000rpm and dish out 31kJ. Srimech: Invertible. Strengths: Destructive, tire weakness is very hard to exploit, flipping it does nothing. Tough armour. Weaknesses: Kinda slow, tires exposed.

GABRIEL II
WEIGHT: 100kgs DIMENSIONS: 105 x 80 x 35 cm SHAPE: Elongated triangular pyramid with steep rear and very shallow front COLOUR: Largely yellow, with a red and yellow striped flipper and black shapes on each side. Kind of like No Objections in a Gabriel shape. DRIVE: 2 C40-300 Magmotors driving 2 inner wheels with Vulkalon treads for grip, running off 3 NiCd packs at 24v SPEED: 14mph average, 20mph max GROUND CLEARANCE: 0 at front due to spring hinged nose, rising to 6mm at rear ARMOUR: 3mm aluminium baseplate, with composite 5mm titanium (5mm hardox in critical areas) and 7mm HDPE on the rest of the body. WEAPONS: A high pressure pneumatic front hinged flipper, consisting of the front edge of the body, running from 2 2kg CO2 tanks and a 70mm hydraulic full pressure ram with high flow rate, giving 25 flips in a match and capable of flipping 100kgs easily and lifting several times more than that. Also has hardened tool steel spikes located on either side of the front point, and it can spin in place to try and do damage with these. SRIMECH: Via weapon. The back has spikes to prevent stranding NOTES: Components shock mounted for protection vs. spinners and impacts. The main changes from the previous Gabriel, aside from the colouring and armour, are that it is now slightly wider and quite a bit lower, giving a lower centre of gravity and making it easier to get other robots on the flipper, and the drive has been upgraded. To make room for the changes, the gas capacity has been reduced and the armour made slightly thinner. STRENGTHS: Difficult to get a grip on due to the shape, low centre of gravity WEAKNESSES: Awkward shape for pushing with

NAME- E Clawdius Unum (formerly Clawdius Decimus Murderous) SHAPE- skirted wedge with small box section and rounded back COLOUR- deep green with red shield emblazoned on the wedge, depicting a gold lion with a crown WEIGHT- about 100kg DIMENSIONS- 95cm X 70cm X 40cm SPEED- 14mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0m GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 0mm at sides and rear thanks to skirts (arranged in a Biohazard fashion, corner-to-corner), 10mm without ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive POWER- 2 X S28-400 MagMotors WEAPONS- The main weapon, as ever, is the hydraulic diamond-tipped crushing claw. It is powered by a Vivoil pump with an 80mm x 40mm ram, with a 2kg tank for storing the hydraulics. The claw runs at 3000psi and, aided by the diamond tip, should be able to leave plenty of holes in another robot. The front wedge also features a Firestorm-style blade and two flat 'spears' to aid in getting under the opposition. The wedge itself is now home to several Mute-style barbs to help ensnare other robots. SRIMECH- A forward-hinged pneumatic arm on either side, powered by a pair of linear actuators. The rounded rear also prevents the robot getting beached. NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, "et tu, Brute?" written on the underbelly STRENGTHS- Quite nippy, good traction, powerful weapon, difficult to get underneath, fairly quick srimech WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability img137.imageshack.us/img137/1801/eclawdiusunumor1.png

Nitro-Gene 4.0
• WEIGHT: 100kg
• ARMOUR: 5mm Hardox for the body. 6mm Hardox flipper.
• SHAPE: Low invertible box with pointed sides and rear. At the front is a 42* wedge to aid in getting underneath other robots. All the lines have been curved over to make it harder for a spinner to grab onto a panel and rip.
• MOTORS: 4 x LEM 130’s at 36V = 36HP
• LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels.
• DIMENSIONS: (L) 90CM (H) 17CM (W) 70CM
• COLOUR: Black all over with the flipper coloured red.
• WEAPONRY: A full pressure Nitrogen powered flipper at 1000psi, using a single 80mm ram at 1000psi. The flipper is mounted in the middle of the robot, and is 20cm wide and runs 30cm up the body. Using a 3cm long Titanium strip underneath the flipper, and a heavy flipping arm, the flipper runs completely along the ground. Running on a ratio 2.2:1, the flipper produces 1600kg of force at the tips, allowing me to launch anyone away! This version has 2 x 3kg Nitrogen bottles, giving me 25 flips!
• SPEED: 22mph
• GROUND CLEARANCE: 0MM-2CM. At the front, it is completely 0mm. On the sides/rear, its 2cm. The orginal weakness of Nitro-Gene (its high ground clearance) has been seen to by the skirts on the sides/rear. They are 5mm Titanium skirts and are joined together like BioHazard – at the corners. To avoid them breaking off, they are held in place by Hardox hinges.
• STRENGTH: Pushing power and weaponry.
• WEAKNESS: High speed may mean difficult driving

Robot Name: Requiem. Length/Width/Height: 100cm x 40cm x 35 – 25cm (the robot’s height decreases from the front to the back). Shape: Invertible box with a > section cut out of the front, which houses the spinning drum. The rear of the robot is rounded and each side has a thick Hardox spike, stopping it from resting on its side. Weight: 100KG Motivation: 2 foam filled go kart wheels made of uber-tough rubber. Speed: About 18mph Weapon: The main weapon is a 20kg spinning drum, powered by 2 Huqsvarna 3120XP chainsaw motors. The weapon is capable of changing gears during a match. Originally, the drum spins at 2400RPM when geared down 10:1, but this can be increased to 2:1 at systematic intervals of 2 gearings (10:1, 8:1, 6:1, 4:1 2:1). The 4mm Titanium drum is fitted with 2 horizontal Hardox bars, welded, screwed and riveted on to avoid them coming off. These are designed not only to flip, but to rip off skirts and armouring. The drum can hit with over 10kJ of force when spinning at 2400RPM, and increases to an astonishing 243kJ when spinning at 2:1 gearing (12000RPM). However to avoid self destructing, the spin will only spin at a maximum speed of 4800RPM. Drive: 24v Sinclair C5 motors. Power: 4 x 24v NiCad batteries. Armour: 5mm Titanium and Vanadium alloy. Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, 7mm all around. Turning Circle: 0M Srimech: Invertible.

Name: Infusion Motivation: 4 x 125mm wheels Speed: 0-12MPH [25MPH under Kinetic Boost] Clearance: 7.5mm (same inverted) 0mm at the front, the wedge scraps the floor. Weight: 100kg Height: 125mm Length: 800mm Width: 600mm Weapon: The weapon is a 28kg Hardox spinning ring (Ala MDU) powered by 2 x D-Pack motors @ 24v (Same motors used in Shredderator). The rim rotates at 2500rpm and should spin up within 1-2 seconds. The weapon is also a storage device for the drive. The spinning rim is connected to each side of the drive via a car air conditioner clutch, when the clutches are engaged, the 31kg kinetic storage bank(the spinning rim) transfers its energy into the drive train, giving it approximately double torque and speed for 2-3 seconds until the rim starts too loose speed and energy. This extra ‘kinetic’ boost is used to ram into opponents with the front 6mm thick Hardox 500 wedge (similar to the one on Warrior SKF but wider and less depth to it). The front wedge is rubber shock mounted to ensure it survives the biggest of hits. Drive: 2 x S28-400 Magmotors on 24v geared 4.8:1. The drive is also assisted via the spinning rim as explain above. Batteries: 12 x 8 A123 cell packs. 26.4V @ 27.6Amp/hour Armour: Front wedge is made entirely out of 6mm Hardox 500, the top and bottom of the robot is made out of 4mm Hardox 500, The ring is made out of 10mm Hardox 400 with inner bracing to the perimeter bearing. Inner bulk heads are made from 20mm polycarbonate and 10mm aluminium. All internals are mounted on soft urethane mounts for shock protection. Notes: Invertible, speed when needed and generally well controlled for a spinner. Ram or Spin, Infusion aims to win!

Name – Liar 2
Shape – A lot like Wheely Big Cheese, only wider, with a more rounded back, and the wedge has sharp “whiskers”.
Weight – 100 Kilogram
Speed – 22 mph
Dimensions – 90x80x25 cm
Ground Clearance – Ranging from 0 mm under the front to 10 mm at the back
Power – 2 LEM130’s at 48 V
Movement – 2 large axlebot wheels with a part of the drive motors inside them, and strips of rubber over them for more traction.
Turning Circle - Zero
Weaponry – The wedge contains a 1000 psi rear-hinged flipper (basically the red parts of the picture) powered by 2x 2,5 kg nitrogen-filled canisters and a single ram with a 70 mm bore size and a 60 mm rod diameter. The tip can lift about a ton, and can easily flip a heavyweight out of the ring. I should have roughly 20-25 flips, and can flip both upside-up and upside-down.
Liar now has 2 30 cm long Hardox spikes at the sides of its wedge, practically turning it into a twackbot. My LEMs should give me a good acceleration and my 22 mph top speed means the spikes will swing around at 54 mph. I will run some calculations as to what this’ll mean for the energy-output, but at this point I can say this will be between 14,4 and 28,8 kJ
Armour – 6 mm Hardox for the wheels, 5 mm for the main body. The flipper ranges from 4 mm Hardox at the back to 7 mm at the front, serving 2 purposes. Centering the weight there will keep my flipper lower to the ground and will also add more weight behind a hit from the spike.
Srimech – Invertible
Strenghts – Powerful and maneuverable flipper Weakness – Exposed wheels I think, though they’re damn sturdy
